FAYETTEVILLE, AR — The energy was unmistakable and the generosity undeniable as supporters from across Arkansas gathered for the 5th Annual Suits & Sneakers Gala, benefitting the American Cancer Society. This year’s milestone celebration brought together survivors, families, advocates, business leaders, and community members united in a mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Attendees donned their finest suits paired with their favorite sneakers, a signature tradition that blends style, playfulness, and purpose. The evening was filled with heartfelt connection, spirited fundraising, joyful nostalgia, and plenty of sparkle—proving once again that when Arkansas comes together, amazing things happen.
“Our community shows up not only dressed to impress, but with full hearts,” said members of the Suits & Sneakers planning squad. “This event continues to grow because people here care deeply about supporting families facing cancer, increasing access to resources, and ensuring no one walks their journey alone.”
The event featured lively games reminiscent of childhood hallways and gym floors, a vibrant catwalk showcasing everything from classic elegance to creative flair, and meaningful moments honoring those whose lives have been impacted by cancer. One guest paid tribute to beloved actress Diane Keaton with a beautifully tailored suit and signature hat—one of many standout fashion statements of the night.
Funds raised support essential American Cancer Society programs including:
- Patient and family support services
- Transportation and lodging assistance through Hope Lodge & Angel Flight partners
- Research and community health initiatives
- Education and advocacy supporting Arkansans navigating diagnosis and treatment
