The 2021 Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Hospitality kicks off this week, March 2-3, 2021, and is free for all attendees. Tourism is BIG business in the Natural State, to the tune of about $10 billion in 2019, but the industry took a hard hit in 2020 due to COVID-19. Building on last year’s theme, “Tourism takes grit,” this year they are expanding with a new tagline for this year’s virtual conference, “GRIT: Generating Recovery in Tourism.”
