Today as preparations for the festivities got underway, we got a chance to talk to some of our favorite artists – artists from all over the region, who will be participating in the 2026 Ozark Mountain Music Festival nestled in the charming Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
This festival is the first major event of the season for Eureka Springs. Everybody stretches their bones and changes their strings to get primed and ready for four days of Music. Hometown favorites like Chucky Waggs and the Company of Raggs, Front Porch, Ponder the Albatross, among many others will be in attendance to fill our lineup.
Along with our favorite locals there will also be the headliners Brothers Comatose and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, whom I am so excited to go see. The weekend is packed with fantastic music, in the Basin Park hotel, and an after-party performance at Chelsea’s Corner Cafe.
Along with music, however, live artists will be exhibiting their trades, as the performances rouse us through the night. Artisans with their wares will come from all over the region, so make sure to stop there!
Josh of Ponder the Albatross spoke about his experiences and what message he wishes for fans to take away:
“Take care of yourself, call your mom, drink water.”
Sounds like good advice! When asked of his favorite song to sing live, he relayed the feeling we know as musicians. Finding the sense of camaraderie and watching magic happen. Being swept away in the feeling of the music.
Carolina Mendoza:
“The line up looks amazing, I’m honored to be a part of it! As musicians we don’t get to see each other often, so it’s always a song and celebration when the reunion happens.”
You can look forward to this and more at the Ozark Mountain Music Festival. Ben Miller, Crazy Folker, Ashtyn Barbaree, and Mountain Alice all will be on schedule for this weekend as well. Come on down and enjoy the festivities of this awesome winter festival!
